The Apollo Theater is notorious for its vocal and opinionated audience as well as its unique ability to launch entertainers to stardom. Spidey became the only mentalist in history to have received a standing ovation at the Apollo, which led him to be a finalist on FOX’s Showtime at the Apollo.
